Protection
for the way
you live.
Device protection designed around real life: carried, handled, looked at in public, set down on hard surfaces.
A device goes
everywhere
you do.
It is picked up a hundred times a day, in places full of other people.
Some information is meant for you.
Not every screen needs an audience.
Your screen travels with you.
Some moments are private by nature.
Your device carries more of your life than you think.
- Conversations.
- Photos.
- Documents.
- Payments.
- Passwords.
- Personal information.
Your screen.
Your information.
Your view.
Not everything on your screen is meant to be seen. On a train or in a café, a screen is readable from the next seat without anyone trying.
From your view: clear.
From the side: private.

Same clarity.
More privacy.
Screen protection that keeps the view for the person holding the device. In public, at work, while travelling, around personal information.
- FrontHead-on, the screen is yours: clear and readable as intended.
- SideFrom the side, the display darkens and the content becomes hard to make out.
- EverydayMessages, banking and work stay between you and the device.

Know
your device.
Every device wears differently. Select yours to see where damage starts, what protection fits, and how to care for it.
What device
do you use?
- Wipe the display and lenses daily with dry microfibre.
- Remove and clean the case weekly; check for trapped grit.
- Inspect the charging port monthly under light.
- Replace protection after any impact that leaves a mark.
The protection system.
Every product here exists because of a problem. Start with the problem, then the product that answers it.

How damage
actually happens.
Nine things worth understanding about the device you carry every day. No product required to read any of them.
Screen
Scratches, cracks and pressure damage
Most display damage is not a single dramatic event. It is accumulated abrasion from sand, grit and keys, followed by one impact that finds an existing weak point.
- Grit trapped between a screen and a pocket lining acts like sandpaper.
- Pressure cracks form when the device flexes — sitting on it, or a tight back pocket.
- A protector absorbs the abrasion so the display glass does not.
- Replace a protector once it is chipped: a chipped edge concentrates force.
Camera
Why lenses need protection and cleaning
The camera array usually protrudes further than any other surface, which means it is the first thing that touches a table. Lens coatings are thin and directional — once scratched, every photograph carries the flaw.
- Fingerprints on a lens scatter light and soften contrast, especially at night.
- Flat surfaces cause circular micro-abrasion around the ring edge.
- Clean lenses with dry microfibre first; solution only if needed.
- Inspect lens protection monthly against a bright light.
Port
How dust and debris affect charging
A charging port collects pocket lint over months and compacts it a little further with every insertion, until the connector no longer seats fully.
- Intermittent charging is usually compaction, not a failed cable.
- Never insert metal, pins or needles into a port.
- Use a soft anti-static brush with the device powered off.
- A case with a recessed port opening slows accumulation.
Body
How scratches and friction accumulate
Body wear is gradual and almost invisible day to day. It shows up all at once when the device is resold or handed down.
- Frame corners take the majority of drop energy.
- Rear glass scratches from grit on flat surfaces, not from drops.
- Grit trapped inside a case abrades the finish it was meant to protect — clean the case weekly.
- Friction wear along the edges is the most common resale deduction.
Battery
Practices that support longevity
Battery capacity declines with charge cycles and with heat. Heat is the variable you control day to day.
- Avoid charging in direct sun or on a soft surface that traps heat.
- Use cables and adapters that meet the device manufacturer's specification.
- Long periods at very high or very low charge are harder on a cell than normal use.
- If the device is hot while charging, remove the case and pause.
Heat
Why temperature affects performance
Sustained heat causes a device to reduce performance to protect itself, and accelerates battery ageing at the same time.
- Heavy tasks plus fast charging plus sunlight is the worst combination.
- Cases do not create heat; trapping it against a surface does.
- Remove the device from a dashboard mount in direct sun.
- Let the device cool before resuming a heavy task.
Water
Resistance is not waterproofing
A water-resistance rating is a laboratory result for a new device under controlled conditions. It is not a lifetime guarantee.
- Seals and adhesives degrade with age, heat and impact.
- After a repair or a screen replacement, the original rating no longer applies.
- Pressurised water and salt water are outside almost every rating.
- Treat resistance as insurance against accidents, not permission.
Cleaning
Safe cleaning process
Coated glass is easy to clean and easy to ruin. The rule is simple: soft material, minimal moisture, no solvents.
- Power the device off and unplug it before cleaning.
- Use a clean dry microfibre cloth first — it removes most of what is there.
- Apply solution to the cloth, never directly to the device.
- Never use household glass cleaner, alcohol wipes, kitchen towel or abrasive sponges on coated surfaces.
Storage
Storing and transporting devices
Devices are damaged in bags more often than in hands. Separation is the whole strategy.
- Keep keys and coins in a different pocket, always.
- Store spare glass protectors flat and sealed.
- For long-term storage, leave a device at a partial charge in a cool, dry place.
- In transit, protect the device as a whole — not just the screen.
Protection doesn’t end
after installation.
Practical, specific and safe for every device — whether or not it is wearing Carapaze protection.
Cleaning your device
Power off and unplug first. Start with a clean, dry microfibre cloth — it removes most of what is on the surface.
- Apply cleaning solution to the cloth, never to the device.
- Work in straight passes, not circles, with light pressure.
- Keep moisture away from ports, grilles and the SIM tray.
- Never use household glass cleaner, bleach, alcohol wipes, kitchen towel or abrasive sponges.
Screen care
- Use microfibre only. Paper products are abrasive at the coating level.
- Avoid pressure on a screen that already has a chip or crack.
- Do not carry the device loose with keys, coins or sand.
- Replace a protector once its edge is chipped.
Camera care
- Keep lenses clean — most soft or hazy photos are fingerprints, not the sensor.
- Avoid touching lens glass directly.
- Inspect lens protection monthly against a bright light.
- Do not set the device camera-down on grit.
Charging port care
- Keep the port free of lint and debris.
- Never insert metal objects, pins or needles.
- Use a soft anti-static brush with the device powered off.
- If charging is intermittent, suspect compaction before assuming a failed cable.
Battery care
- Avoid extreme heat and extreme cold.
- Use cables and adapters meeting the device manufacturer's specification.
- Avoid fast charging in direct sunlight or on soft, heat-trapping surfaces.
- If the device is hot while charging, pause and let it cool.
Water and liquids
Water resistance is a rating for a new device under controlled laboratory conditions. It changes with age, heat, impact and repair.
- Assume a repaired device no longer holds its original rating.
- Pressurised water and salt water sit outside almost every rating.
- Dry the device fully before charging after any liquid exposure.
Case care
- Remove and clean the case weekly — grit trapped inside abrades the finish.
- Rinse with clean water and dry fully before refitting.
- Do not use solvents or abrasive cloths on printed or coated surfaces.
- Replace a case once it is cracked or has lost its retaining fit.
Screen protector care
- Replace when the edge is chipped, when lifting starts at a corner, or after any impact that leaves a mark.
- Small trapped bubbles at installation usually settle within 48 hours; a bubble that appears later signals a lifted edge.
- Clean a protector exactly as you would clean the display beneath it.

Protect.
Preserve.
Perform.
Carapaze exists to change the way people think about device protection. Your device is something you use every day, depend on every day, and carry through your life. Protection should therefore be part of the device experience.
Carapaze is not simply selling cases and accessories.
We are building a culture of better protection, better care, better maintenance and better everyday experiences — because the device in your hand is one of the most used objects you own, and almost nobody is taught how to look after it.
Protection is not an accessory. It is part of the device experience.

Help.
Compatibility and the questions we are asked most.
How do I confirm compatibility?
Check your exact model in Settings on the device, then match it against the compatibility line on the product page. If the model is not listed, it is not confirmed — ask us first.
Will a case interfere with magnetic charging?
Products described as magnetic charging compatible are designed to work with magnetic accessories and wireless charging. Compatibility is stated per product.
How long does a screen protector last?
Until it is chipped, lifting at a corner, or has taken an impact that left a mark. Replace it at that point rather than at a fixed interval.
